The National Association of Landscaping Professionals (NALP) recently announced it will host ENGAGE, a new virtual and educational networking program for landscaping industry professionals. The inaugural ENGAGE event, to be held Feb. 18, will offer landscapers the opportunity to meet online and discuss many of the topics and issues affecting their industry.
“We know that people miss connecting with industry experts and peers, so to help find solutions to business challenges, we’ve made the popular Breakfast with Champions event virtual,” said Britt Wood, NALP CEO. “And we’ve made it easy to participate – with a minimum time commitment so that it’s easy for your whole team to participate.”
The event will feature two hour-long sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. During these sessions, event attendees will break off into groups of ten for discussions of specific topics, moderated by an industry expert. Attendees may register for specific subjects, choosing from more than 20 landscaping industry topics that include:
- Building a Diverse Team of Young Talent;
- Proven Strategies to Win Contracts and Exponentially Grow the Business;
- Better Project Estimating for Better Profits;
- Boost Your Marketing and Company Storytelling with DIY Tools, Apps, and Video.
The full list of discussion topics can be found here. These group discussions are a great opportunity for landscaping professionals to continue their education, as each hour-long session counts as one credit towards Landscape Industry Certified CEU’s.
Registration for ENGAGE is open now and costs $99 for NALP members and $149 for non-members. In their announcement, the NALP notably refers to this February meeting as the “first event in the 2021 ENGAGE series,” so expect more information to come on future ENGAGE events.
