International Builders’ Show Early-Bird Pricing Has Been Extended-But Not for Long

UPDATE (January 14, 2021)— Back in October, it was announced that the 2021 International Builders’ Show would be shirking its original format for some sort of virtual replacement. That virtual replacement is now known to be IBSx, an online experience meant to serve as a showcase for building industry innovations and an opportunity for fellow builders to network amongst themselves.

Event organizers have now extended the deadline for early-bird pricing on IBSx all-access passes to this Monday, January 18th. The early-bird price knocks $50 off the price of the pass, lowering it to $199 for members of the National Association of Home Builders and $299 for non-members. Registration for the main event remains free for NAHB members and $50 for non-members.

IBSx is still set to take place from February 9th through February 12th, and the information from the show will remain available online through the end of March 2021.

Registration information can be found here.

Registration Open for Virtual International Builders’ Show

November 14, 2020— For the last 76 years the annual International Builders’ Show has served as a showcase for new product releases and innovations within the building industry, as well as a chance for builders to connect with fellow industry members. But due to COVID-19’s impact on travel and in-person gatherings, this year’s IBS is shaping up differently.

Registration is open for IBSx, a “virtual experience” designed to replace the in-person show. Registration is free for members of the National Association of Home Builders, while non-members pay a $50 registration fee.

The show itself will be held online from Feb. 9-12, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. Registrants will receive an email in late January with login information to access the event and interact with exhibitors and other attendees.

Here’s a quick rundown of everything that’s going down at IBSx:

  • Opening ceremonies with keynote speaker Mike Rowe;
  • Product demos and exhibitor showcases;
  • Virtual tours of The New American Home® and The New American Remodel®;
  • Networking activities;
  • Live one-on-one meetings with industry suppliers and service providers.

The IBS is also offering an “all-access pass” to more than 70 education sessions featuring speakers from throughout the building industry. The all-access pass costs $249 for NAHB members and $349 for non-members, with “early-bird” discounts available for those who register before Jan. 9.
